Men’s Callaway Big Bertha Heavenwood Woods Utility

Callaway Golf  is one of the premier manufacturers of hybrid golf clubs, and as such they have several different lines to choose from. Each club type is available for both right and left handed golfers. These clubs are also available in multiple shaft choices in addition to your choice of loft angle.

Callaway X Hybrid

This is perhaps the most popular of the Callaway Hybrids, possibly due to the company being very open that feedback from PGA Tour pros was used extensively in its development. This club features the Modified X-Sole, which is meant to smoothly handle any lie from

the deep rough to a perfect fairway lie. This sole is a big improvement over earlier versions of this club. the intent is to allow you to be able to capitalize on the benefits of a hybrid from practically any lie you might find yourself dealing with. The club also features an increased weighting in its perimeter, which is meant to optimize the center of gravity and create more stability on miss hit shots, something any amateur can appreciate!

The X Hybrids are also equipped with some other features unique to Callaway Hybrids. Callaway uses Variable Face Thickness technology, which allows its engineers to adjust the thickness of the face in order to maximize ball speed and the weighting of the club. the intent is to produce more distance while still offering the forgiveness of a hybrid. The club also uses breakthroughs in technology in its hosel and shaft tip which help maximize the weight balance of the club.

X hybrids are available in 5 different shaft materials choices, 4 different flex choices, 5 different lofts, and of course both right and left handed.

Callaway Golf-Big Bertha Heavonwood Hybrid Iron/Wood

The Heavonwood was designed for those players who struggled to hit their long irons, and found themselves trying to use their fairway woods when in a long iron situation. While fairway woods can be effective in these situations, the Heavonwood gives you the better alternative of having a hybrid with its smaller head that will not hinder you in tough lie situations. This club has the safe and comfortable feel of a fairway wood, but offers much more in the way of playability.

The Heavonwood features an elongated club face, which both inspires confidence and offers forgiveness. The length of the club is optimized for more clubhead spead as compared with fairway woods or long irons. This results in both additional distance and control. The Modified War Bird sole is designed to minimize resistance to the turf in order to promote solid contact.

Heavonwood Hybrids are available in either graphite or steel shafts, 4 flex choices, 4 loft choices, and both right and left handed.

Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Hybrid

Callaway engineers have designed the Diablo using improvments in the sole first used in the FT Hybrids. This Dual Runner Sole is designed to help you make solid contact from any lie due to its lowered leading edge and sweet spot. This is the ideal club for those shots  where you face a situation that you have no confidence in anything currently in your bag. The club head is made of all stainless steel, which allows the weighting to be moved to the perimeter. The result is more distance along with better accuracy and control over the trajectory whether you are hitting it off the tee or going at the flag.

The Diablo comes in 4 different loft angles and 4 choices in shaft flex. The Diablo is also available in both right and left handed designs.
